The growing popularity of motorcycles has forced the organizers of Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance to include them in this years event. For the first time in its 59-year history, the Pebble Beach Concours has decided to feature classic motorcycles alongside cars this August.

The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is an automotive charitable event held each year in California and is considered as the most prestigious event of its kind. Its a race event sponsored by the Sports Car Club of America and conducted on a circuit of closed public roads. It includes many prewar and postwar cars that compete against each other in various categories.

Probably, one of the main reasons why the concours invited motorcycles in this (otherwise a car) event is to capitalize on the growing interest in classic motorcycles. And these aren’t just any motorcycles; organizers are expecting some of the rarest and most valuable two-wheelers to take their place alongside the classic Ferraris, Bentleys and Bugattis. It surely will be an honour for all the motorcycle enthusiasts to participate in this event, which primarily focuses on the British bikes built through 1959. Beginning on Aug. 16, the show will look for Vincents, Brough Superiors, Nortons, Velocettes, BSAs, Triumphs and Ariels to make up the field alongside the four wheelers.

All the motorcycle enthusiasts who wish to attend this event can register at – www.pebblebeachconcours.net and showcase their talent. And remember to get your motorcycle checked before going in to the event as it needs to be in perfect order. In case, you live near the NY area, visit us anytime to add some cool accessories to your bike and we will assist you in getting it throughly checked.
